The mega public issue has attracted significant investor attention because of its size, the prominence of NSE in India’s capital markets and expectations surrounding its stock-market debut.

The IPO opened for subscription on September 17 and closes today. The price band has been fixed at ₹1,700 to ₹1,785 per equity share, while the minimum lot size is 8 shares. At the upper price band, a retail investor needs ₹14,280 for one lot. The issue is scheduled to be listed on the BSE on September 24, 2026, subject to the completion of the allotment process.

📈 NSE IPO Final-Day Subscription Status

The NSE IPO has been fully subscribed, with subscription levels continuing to change throughout the final day.

Business Standard reported that the issue had received 1.47 times subscription by 10:41 AM on September 21, with bids for 12.99 crore shares against 8.86 crore shares on offer. At that point, the NII category was subscribed 2.34 times, QIBs 1.83 times and retail investors 0.88 times.

Later updates showed subscription moving higher during the day. NDTV Profit reported 1.97 times overall subscription by 12:30 PM, with QIBs at 2.54 times, NIIs at 3.48 times and retail investors at 0.99 times.

Since subscription figures are live during market hours, the final numbers can change before the issue closes.

💰 NSE IPO Price and Minimum Investment

The IPO price band is:

Lower Price: ₹1,700 per share
Upper Price: ₹1,785 per share
Lot Size: 8 shares
Minimum investment at upper band: ₹14,280

The issue consists entirely of an Offer for Sale (OFS). NDTV Profit reported a GMP of ₹59 at 11:30 AM, while other market trackers reported ₹48.

Using a ₹59 GMP against the upper price band of ₹1,785 gives an indicative grey-market price of around:

₹1,785 + ₹59 = ₹1,844

That would represent an indicative premium of about 3.31% over the upper issue price.

However, GMP is unofficial and not a guaranteed indication of the actual listing price. It can change rapidly before listing and should not be treated as assured profit.

💵 NSE IPO Expected Profit Calculation

If the IPO were to list at an indicative price of ₹1,844 based on a ₹59 GMP, the theoretical difference from the upper issue price would be:

₹1,844 − ₹1,785 = ₹59 per share

For one lot of 8 shares:

₹59 × 8 = ₹472

So, based purely on this GMP calculation, the indicative gain for one lot would be around ₹472 before brokerage, taxes and other applicable charges.

But this is not guaranteed profit. The actual listing price could be higher, lower or close to the issue price.

📅 NSE IPO Allotment and Listing Date

The expected timeline is:

IPO Closing: September 21, 2026
Allotment: September 22, 2026
Share Credit: September 23, 2026
BSE Listing: September 24, 2026

These dates are based on the currently reported IPO schedule.

Investors who receive an allotment should be able to see their shares credited before the expected listing date.

⚠️ Important Risks to Remember

Although the NSE brand is highly recognised, investors should not consider the IPO risk-free.

One important point is that this is a 100% OFS, so NSE itself does not receive the IPO proceeds. In addition, the company’s business is closely connected to trading activity and the broader capital-market environment.

Reuters reported before the IPO that investor caution was linked partly to changes affecting derivatives trading, while NSE’s FY2026 revenue and profit had also declined from the previous year.

The fall in GMP from earlier levels is another factor investors are watching. Reports indicate the GMP had been significantly higher before declining toward the ₹48–₹59 range on the final day.

🎯 NSE IPO Final-Day Verdict

The NSE IPO final day is attracting strong attention, with the issue already fully subscribed and bidding continuing across investor categories.

The current price band is ₹1,700–₹1,785, with a minimum retail investment of ₹14,280 at the upper band. The latest unofficial GMP points to a relatively modest premium, but GMP should not be treated as a guaranteed listing gain.

For investors following the IPO today, the key things to watch are the final subscription numbers, closing price, allotment on September 22 and the actual listing price on September 24.

The NSE IPO is therefore entering its most important stage, but the final return will only be known when the shares actually list and begin trading.

NSE IPO Final Day: September 21, 2026
Price Band: ₹1,700–₹1,785
Lot Size: 8 shares
Minimum Investment: ₹14,280
Latest GMP Range: Approximately ₹48–₹59
Indicative GMP-Based Price: Around ₹1,833–₹1,844
Expected Allotment: September 22

Expected Listing: September 24, 2026
Issue Type: 100% Offer for Sale

Listing Date and Expected Profit – September 21, 2026 The much-awaited National Stock Exchange (NSE) IPO has entered its final

[6

post-229","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-today-trends
["GET
